STEM Foundation Centre, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) is the first STEM Foundation Centre founded in Malaysia. Endorsed by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia on May 2017, Foundation in STEM programme too has obtained the accreditation from the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and started their first semester on June 2018 with 68 students as the first batch.
Foundation in STEM aims to prepare the soon-to-be undergraduate students of UMTwith the needed skills and knowledge of STEM; which is stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics before entering selected undergraduate programmes offered in UMT.
